For over a decade now, Autumn has marked the arrival of our new dresses from Suzanne Neville, which coincides with our annual Suzanne Neville Designer Day! If you're not familiar with the term, a Designer Day is a special event when the designer from the label comes in for the day to spend time with out brides. This is a brilliant opportunity for fans of the brand to speak to Suzanne face to face and discuss bespoke ideas.
This year, Suzanne brought our new dresses from the 2023 Opulence collection with her, so the brides who attended were some of the very first in the UK to try on these gorgeous new gowns. The favourite from the day was without a doubt the show stopped Manoir dress- sharp shoulders, a square neckline and lace collared high neck, what's not to love! You can see the full selection of dresses here.
To celebrate the autumnal October date, florist Gill Pike decorated the chapel with rustic seasonal flowers, opting for an arch made from golden autumn leaves mixed in with milky white orchids. Inside, explosions of dried berries and foliage brought the outside in, whilst our brides were able to pose with rustic bronze bouquets.
As usual, our expert beauty duo Sharon Roberts and Carolanne Armstrong offered complimentary and hair and make-up trials. Brides were able to try different styles and explore their options with braided up do's, sleek buns, glamorous smokey eyes and sharp winged eyeliner.
Our Gift List partners The Wedding Present Company supplied our goody bag treats and Gift Vouchers for our brides, along with a delightful installation inspired by cocktails and celebrations. The display worked perfectly alongside the introduction of our new partnership with Award Winning Surrey vineyard, Greyfrairs, who we're delighted to announce as our drinks partner for 2023. More on that soon!
The atmosphere was captured beautifully by Sophie Duckworth, as seen in the gallery of stunning images.
