We loved seeing Hannah & Myles relaxed, personal wedding, which took place at the bride's beautiul family home in Chilgrove, with a romantic ceremony at Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Singleton. With a picturesque countryside location and lots of golden August sunshine, the day was fun, intimate and full of joy.
Hannah wore the chic, simple 906 by Jesus Peiro, for an elegant, sports luxe inspired look that was just perfect for their laid back day.

Jesus Peiro 906 wedding dress
Miss Bush had been recommended to me but more or less every bride I knew. On our first visit I was blown away. Not only did Emma find out all about me, but she used her expertise to pick out dresses that she felt would suit my personality. My wedding dress was th W first dress I ever tried on. From the moment I stepped into it I felt comfortable. I felt like me. It set the bar so high, no other dress or bridal shop had a look in. It was perfect. The more and more people asked me about the dress (I kept it a secret - only MOB and MOH had seen it!), I became a little worried that I had gone a bit rogue with the dotty taffeta. I had never seen another dress like it. However, on the day all of my butterflies disappeared- not only did the dress go down a storm, but it turns out everyone had imagined I would go for something like I did. One of my bridesmaid even picked it out whilst dress shopping herself!
I refuse to wear my wedding dress only once, so controversially I’m having it altered so it’s a summer dress. It’s just too beautiful to stay in a box!
Dress Shopping
My mum was with me when I found the dress. I walked out with the biggest smile, as I just felt so calm. I knew it was right. It was the look in her eyes that confirmed it. My mother is a difficult egg to please, so when she was blown away, I knew it was the one!
My favourite part of the dress shopping experience was the personal approach to it all. You made me feel like you were giving me all the time in the world. I felt like you cared.
Your knowledge was outstanding too. I trusted you to make the dress look it’s best on me.
Styling
Straight away I knew I didn’t want the original bow it came with, but felt there was something missing without it. The stunning ribbon that we put in its place only made the dress more personal. The contrast of the silk and the dots was relaxed but beautiful. I wore wedges as I’m useless in heels. I ordered them online from Australia - a company called forever soles. But together it all complimented our relaxed countryside wedding.
A relaxed, personal wedding at home
Our wedding was at my family home, so it was only fitting that all decorations and ‘the look’ were personal. Etsy was my best friend through the planning stages and I was adamant to put my own stamp on the day. Guests were quick to comment how ‘me’ the day was (sorry Myles!). All the little touches made it our day and made it different to others.
The best bits
I absolutely loved the service. I loved walking down the aisle which is something I was dreading- all those eyes! But it was wonderful - so personal, so relaxed. It just felt right.
Entering the marquee wa a hugely special too - we just felt showered with love.
Hannah's Advice
Enjoy every moment. Take your time, get a notepad and write ideas down as they come. Pick a dress that YOU love, not what you think everyone else will. And keep it a secret- it’s amazing to get your guests reactions when they see it for the first time.
I miss Wedmin!
