We’re delighted to share the images from a collaborative shoot between Miss Bush and Cowdray House.
The focus for this editorial was to recreate the perfect Miss Bush X Cowdray House bride, highlighting the incredible spaces and backdrops available at Cowdray house whilst showcasing a selection of bridal fashion looks for the 2025 season.
Throughout the day we created 11 looks, with a narrative that ran throughout the day from the excitement of bridal prep in the morning to the joy of celebrating into the early hours.
It was wonderful to work with the most amazing team of brilliant collaborators, with This Floral Life providing the beautiful bouquets, nightwear from If Only If, award winning English sparkling wine from Gusbourne, chic shoes and accessories by Freya Rose London, a bespoke BUSH necklace from Spott and Herbert and the most incredible pieces of one of a kind fine jewellery from Barbara Tipple.
Carolanne Armstrong was our hair and beauty artist for the day, creating classic, natural bridal make up looks and elegant hair styles for our wonderful model, Rebekka Sandok, via Premier Models.

GETTING READY
A wedding day at Cowdray begins in the sumptuous bedrooms. With 22 to choose from, we were spoilt for choice – each one beautifully and uniquely decorated for maximum comfort and relaxation.
For the ‘Getting Ready’ looks Rebekka wore the 100% silk satin Sands nightdress and Organic Cotton Twill Pippy dressing gown from If Only If.
NEW ARRIVALS FROM SUZANNE NEVILLE
With our Suzanne Neville Designer Day coming up and the new 2025 bridal collection arriving at Miss Bush, we wanted to work with two of the new dresses for this shoot, giving our own Miss Bush point of view to the new arrivals.
FOXGLOVE IN THE SITTING ROOM
For the first look, we styled Foxglove, an updated version of the popular Degas wedding dress, this time made from beautiful crepe. The dress features a corset bodice with curved waist detail, giving you the most perfect fit. With clever draping, elegant off the shoulder sleeves and a scooped neckline, Foxglove is finished with a mermaid skirt, finished with a glamorous thigh-high side split - perfect for showing off a pair of dreamy statement heels. We opted for Freya Rose London’s epic Tyra gold platforms with Mother of Pearl heel with brass inlay.
From Barbara Tipple Jewellery, Rebekka wore the Toi et Moi natural yellow pear shape diamond Ring with white marquise diamonds and platinum 1ct round brilliant diamond solitaire ear studs.
Situated within 100 acres of spectacular Capability Brown designed gardens, Cowdray House is a historic manor house located in the beautiful South Downs. With 22 stunning bedrooms, a variety of elegant reception rooms and the incredible Buck Hall event space, Cowdray is the ideal venue for a magical and memorable wedding day.
OLD SCHOOL GLAMOUR WITH MILTONIA
Next, we introduced the incredible Miltonia dress; a classic strapless gown with fitted corset bodice and sleek, elegant a-line skirt. We made this look our own by adding a custom neck scarf with trailing tails, made in house by our design team, Nortier. Photographed in the main event space at Cowdray House, Buck Hall, we were treated with the most incredible light streaming in through the stained-glass windows, giving Miltonia its own spotlight to shine in. Voyteck captured this look so beautifully, with the resulting images looking like a series of renaissance paintings.
When Rebekka wasn’t wearing the Nortier neck scarf, she showcased the rare suite of Moonstone necklace, set with diamonds in platinum by Barabara Tipple, with co-ordinating platinum, moonstone and diamond drop earrings.
DRAMA IN THE GREAT HALL WITH CASPAR
Next up, we revealed Caspar, a brand new wedding dress from Nortier. Caspar is an updated version of the incredible Schiffer dress made from luxurious shimmering satin with added pleats for even more volume. The full romantic skirt gave us the perfect dramatic moment, with Rebekka running across Buck Hall to show off the impact and theatre of this show-stopping wedding gown. The gold Prada pumps made their first appearance with this dress, adding a modern twist to the vintage inspired wedding dress.
For jewellery, Rebekka wore two rings by Barbara Tipple; an 18ct yellow gold,1.38ct round brilliant diamond solitaire ring set in platinum and 1.40ct round brilliant diamond 18ct yellow gold wedding band, with platinum 1ct round brilliant diamond solitaire ear studs.
The Bouquets
Karen from This Floral Life created 3 bouquets for the shoot, each with a different interpretation of autumn.
Golden Light
A soft, elegant bouquet in shades of cream, yellow and peach
Turning Leaf
An autumnal display with rustic leaves, fiery oranges and rich yellow
A Blaze of Colour
Rich plum and jewel tones to create a moody autumnal feel
AN ELEGANT DINNER WITH KAREN
Ever since we took delivery of our new dress from Sophie et Voila’s Platinum collection, Emma has been smitten by the minimalist Karen wedding dress. Karen couldn’t be any more different from the fitted Suzanne Neville dress; with no waist definition whatsoever and completely straight down A shaped silhouette. The dress boasts an off the shoulder neckline with a completely straight across neckline which made it the perfect blank canvas for showing off a bold statement necklace. This was the perfect opportunity to style some of the most incredible pieces from Barbara Tipple.
First, we styled the dress with an 18ct yellow gold neck torque, with an enamel and baguette diamond whales tail design made from fine quality Aquamarine. This was combined with two 18ct yellow gold rings, one a simple wedding band and a 1.38ct round brilliant diamond solitaire ring set in platinum.
For the second look, we styled Karen with the priceless 1998 Diamonds International Award winner; a showstopping Perspex neck torque adorned with platinum and diamonds.
RELAXED PORTRAITS IN VIOLA
Divine Atelier are a new designer to Miss Bush for 2025, and have already had an incredible reception from our brides at The Chapel! Viola is a chic contemporary gown made from a stunning textured silk, with a creative bubble hem skirt and cut out panel detailing.
We leaned into the Autumnal feel of the day for the styling of this dress, with deep burgundy Mary Jane shoes (stylist’s own) and the addition of a deep plum lip. For jewellery, we added Barbara Tipple’s rutilated quartz 18ct yellow gold bee drop earrings with co-ordinating torque cuff bracelet and ring.
Bridal Beauty
Carolanne shared the products she used to create Rebekka’s bridal make up looks, mostly from Lisa Eldridge. For the skin, she used Seamless Skin Foundation with Elevated Glow Highlighter. For the lips, Kitten Mischief lipstick was used for the main bridal looks, Petal lipgloss for the glam party look and a custom blend for the autumnal plum lips. Carolanne also used the Muse eyeshadow palette to add a touch of shimmer to the eyes for the evening party.
DRAMA ON THE STAIRCASE WITH 2530
As soon as we booked the shoot with Cowdray, we knew we had to include some dramatic staircase images, inspired by our bride, Antonia, who married at the house a couple of years ago. The images of Antonia’s Jesus Peiro dress with epic extra-long veil and train were iconic, and we just had to create our own version!
We started with the Jesus Peiro 2530 dress and separates; a simple v-neck dress paired with a bold statement opera coat. The puff sleeves are made from a stunning sheer tulle covered in harlequin embroidery, with gathering along the length of the sleeves for added volume and interest.
On the stairs, we styled this dress with Barbara Tipple’s Marquise rutilated quarts necklace with pear rutile drop, along with the rutilated quartz 18ct yellow gold bee drop earrings with co-ordinating torque cuff bracelet and ring.
After the staircase, we headed back into Buck Hall to make the most of the beautiful light. 2530 is from Jesus Peiro’s Lumiere collection, which focuses on combining different silhouettes and the way light shines through fabric, which is represented wonderfully in these romantic images. The light in the Great Hall is exquisite, and looked incredible filtering through the puff sleeves of 2530. We also felt that the harlequin motif on the embroidered tulle had a slight medieval feel, making it look right at home in Buck Hall amongst the antique swords and suits of armour.
In the Great Hall, the jewellery was switched for the suite of cabachon aquamarine, forged 18ct gold necklace and cabochon aquamarine clutch bracelet, along with the platinum 1ct round brilliant diamond solitaire ear studs and 18ct yellow gold, aquamarine ring.
With the cape removed, we also took the opportunity to photograph a few more of the incredible pieces from Barbara Tipple; the suite of rutilated quartz, 18ct yellow gold necklace and the bronze, 18ct yellow gold, green moonstone necklace, both worn with the platinum 1ct round brilliant diamond solitaire ear studs.

AFTERNOON TEA IN THE DRAWING ROOM WITH 7056
For the afternoon tea outfit, we wanted to create a pretty, demure bridal look. For this, we brought back a Jesus Peiro classic from the archives – Style 7056 from the 2017 Mirtilli bridal collection. This is such a signature look for Jesus Peiro; the pockets, the crisp, simple cut of the bodice, the full skirt and of course the incredible statement bow to the back.
The dress was styled with jewellery from Freya Rose; we chose the blue topaz and pearl cross necklace with matching drop earrings which worked beautifully with the model’s blue eyes.
We also used the afternoon tea setting as an opportunity to incorporate our partnership with Gusbourne into the shoot; what could be more perfect than a classic Miss Bush bride sipping a glass of award-winning English sparkling wine?
A QUIET MOMENT ALONE
The next look is a bit of a wild card! Emma saw this incredible gold beaded bikini on the shelves of a well-known high-street brand and had to snap it up to add a touch of fun and glamour to the shoot. We saw this moment as a chance to decompress between the daytime celebrations and the evening reception; our chic bride relaxing in the grandeur of Cowdray’s wood-panelled 'Golden Topaz' bedroom with a glass of Gusbourne before transforming into her evening party look.
Miss Bush is delighted to be partnered with Gusbourne, a winery in Kent, producing exquisite, award-winning English sparkling wine.
From Autumn 2024, Miss Bush is proud to serve Gusbourne English sparkling wine at appointments and events; the perfect addition to an exclusive, intimate appointment at Miss Bush.
PARTY TIME
The next set of images show off why the model, Rebekka, was so great to work with! As soon as we put her into the incredible gold dress, switched on a soundtrack of Chappell Roan and Georgia Meek, she slipped effortlessly into party mode and really embodied the ‘evening party bride’ character we were creating.
The dress is another incredible new release from our in-house brand, Nortier, named Clementine. Again, this dress is an evolution of the original Schiffer dress, but this time as a mini and made from luxurious gold taffeta, with a fun and playful short puffball skirt.
We styled Clementine with a matching gold veil, along with Freya Rose’s Tyra platforms and Mother of Pearl clutch bag.
To finish the look, we added a cute bespoke B.U.S.H initial necklace made for Emma by Southsea local artisan Spott and Herbert.
GOING HOME
Time to head home, or straight off on honeymoon! The adorable Billie coat from Shrimps was the perfect choice for this, giving a cute, retro feel to the bridal departure outfit.
