It is wonderful to share Sarah and Matt's beautiful Farnham Castle wedding with you today! The wedding took place in September, with a fun, relaxed atmosphere set in the most glorious surroundings, featuring a dream team of suppliers including Miss Bush favourites Gill Pike and Sharon Roberts.

Sarah wore one of Jesus Peiro's most iconic dresses ever, Style 200. This dress is a signature look for the brand that never goes out of style - we've loved it for many many years now and will continue to do so for a very long time! The style features everything we love about Jesus Peiro; crisp, minimalist lines, a sharp collared neckline, full romantic skirt, all finished with their signature pockets. To give the dress the attention it deserved, Sarah styled her look with simple, classic accessories, opting for a two tier veil and chic gold earrings.

Jesus Peiro 200 wedding dress

From the moment I saw my dress I absolutely loved it. It felt timeless with a modern edge - The neck line & belt felt really different to anything I'd seen before.

I'd seen it on the Miss Bush website and wasn't sure if the style would suit me. I was also was VERY skeptical about putting on a petticoat initially, but absolutely fell in love when I tried it on at Miss Bush! The fuller skirt was super flattering for my tall frame and the belt really nipped me in at the waist - it was perfect.

Initially I brought my mum & mother in law who both loved the selection of dresses. I brought back one of my bridesmaid's the second time I visited and she said the dress looked like it been made for me - I was sold!

Dress Shopping

I loved trying on the different styles of dresses - I was always one to play princess dress up when I was little and it felt like my chance to do it in real life! The Miss Bush team really knew how to guide my choices in the right way, helping me understand why certain dresses may feel more flattering than others on me and really understanding my body shape.

Styling

Given the dress was quite the statement I kept styling very minimal - saving the party shoes (bright pink Manolo's) for the evening when I broke out a shorter dress where I could show them off!

A fun, elegant wedding at Farnham Castle

We chose Farnham Castle as we loved the traditional aspects of it, but also really loved the simplicity and clean lines of the ceremony room. The large archways and grand staircases at the venue made for some pretty wonderful photos too!

The most important thing to us was that everyone had FUN! We wanted to make sure the drinks kept flowing, the dance floor was full and the party could keep going until the early hours...!

The best bits

It's too hard to choose one part! I loved every moment of it and each time I think back a new favourite memory pops up!
I did really love the moments when Matt & I could spend some time soaking it all in. Sitting at our top table during dinner I remember having to pinch myself that all our favourite people were in one place which felt quite magical.
I'm also a complete sucker for the speeches at any wedding I go to, so ours was no different!

Sarah's Advice

Enjoy it - it will be gone in a flash! Wedding planning can get stressful but your dream day with be better than you ever imagined!

When it comes to the Dress, trust your instinct and don't ask too many people their opinion... No one knows what's perfect for you more than yourself!
