It's such a joy to share Nicole & Grace's beautiful, vibrant wedding with you today! The wedding took place at Wyresdale Park in October, with a hot pink, red and baby pink colour palette bringing a joyful, contemporary feel to the day.
Nicole is our first ever featured bride to wear the incredible Isla dress and cape bridal outfit from Sophie et Voila. This chic combo is made from recycled crepe, featuring a simple, minimalist wedding dress beneath an incredible statement cape with voluminous tulle puff sleeves. Nicole styled her look with bold accessories, choosing red Gucci slingback heels and a Wolf and Moon heart handbag in co-ordinating red and pink customised with her initials.

Sophie et Voila Isla wedding dress and cape
I spent months searching for a designer I even halfway liked, until I stumbled upon Sophie Et Voila - it felt like magic. When I checked her UK stockists, I found out there were only two in the entire country! One was just 30 minutes away from Manchester, where I live, but I ultimately decided to visit Miss Bush. I loved their vibe, admired how they approached everything, and had already been eyeing a couple of their other designers. Being so close to my family home, it all felt serendipitous.
I’m not someone who typically wears white or neutrals, for that matter. I’m all about bold colours, but I knew this was my one chance to go all-in on a white dress, so I embraced it. What stood out about the Isla dress was its timeless silhouette - ironically, not all that common in bridal fashion - paired with those stunning, dramatic sleeves. The contrast between the two was perfect, creating a balance that felt both chic and playful. I felt luxurious but still fun! And the cape? Totally unnecessary, but it transformed the look from fabulous to out-of-this-world - it was an absolute must-have.
I walked in thinking it could be the one, but I managed my expectations (as you do). And wouldn’t you know it? It absolutely was!
Dress Shopping
I brought two of my bridesmaids, my mum, and my nan along for the visit. I didn’t tell them I had a specific dress in mind because I wanted their raw, unfiltered reactions. And I kid you not - they all gasped the moment I stepped out and said, “It’s the one!”
My favourite part of the dress shopping experience was the fact that all the dresses actually fit - this made such a difference. I’d only been to one other shop before, and as a size 12, I felt horrendously awkward there. At Miss Bush, there was no rushing, even when my appointment time technically ended. Ben, the stylist, was incredible - he encouraged all of my ideas, worked with my suggestions, and helped me explore different looks with ease.
Styling
As someone who works in the jewellery industry, I had been dreaming about my accessories for ages. Surrounded by inspiration every day, I finally decided on a pink gradient heart tennis necklace - classic with a twist. I paired it with matching hoops featuring pink and red laser-cut hearts from Wolf & Moon. To tie everything together, I got a coordinating bag from Wolf & Moon, customized with my new initials. Funny enough, I had a screenshot of that bag saved long before I was even engaged - I just knew it would be perfect for the big day!
To finish the look, I wore the dreamiest shoes: bright pink Gucci slingbacks adorned with multi-coloured diamantes. The best part? They had a super manageable 2cm heel - practical and fabulous!
A joyful, colourful wedding at Wryesdale Park
We tied the knot at Wyresdale Park, which was perfect for us because it offered a blank canvas to make our own while also accommodating a large guest list!
For our mid-October wedding, we went for a style that was a bit unconventional. While autumnal hues are typically expected, we did the complete opposite. We chose bold pinks and reds, with disco balls scattered throughout, fabric drapes, and heart-shaped decorations everywhere. Our goal was to create a fun atmosphere and really showcase our personalities.
The best bits
The big reveal down the aisle - it was even more special as we both wore dresses!
Having my 98 year old nan dancing away in the evening.
All of our favourite people in one room (so sad it'll never happen again)
