We're so pleased to share Charlotte and Ben's beautiful Dorset wedding with you today, which took place at elegant country house venue, Came House. The day took place in mid August, and was a relaxed, joyful day, styled with lots of beautiful flowers and personal touches to make their day extra special.
Charlotte wore a quintessential Jesus Peiro look, opting for Style 2449. The dress reflects the brands signature style, with simple, elegant lines and a classic silhouette with contemporary details. The full ball gown skirt is accentuated with a nipped in waist, along with a fitted bodice and delicate capped sleeves, all made from beautiful textured dotty taffeta. It was the perfect choice for Charlotte's elegant Summer wedding, which she styled with classic pearl drop earrings and a romantic veil adorning her finished with hairpins by Miss Clemmie.

Jesus Peiro 2449 wedding dress
I chose dress 2449 from the Jesus Peiro collection after trying on a handful of dresses. I had always suspected that I would end up with a Jesus Peiro dress! In the pre appointment questionnaire, I hadn't included my specific dresses one of the ones that I wanted to try on, but once we were there my friend, Sophie, saw it and asked me to try it on. The dress was beautiful, being 6ft tall I was so excited about having a full length dress for the first time in my life, which would then be made to measure! I particularly liked the dotty taffeta material as I felt like this gave the dress a unique look that I had not really seen before. I also liked the structured shoulders of the dress. I have always enjoyed wearing tops/dresses with puffed sleeves so a slightly more structured sleeve was slightly different but still in line with what I like to wear.
I brought one of my closest friends, Sophie, with me when I found the dress. Sophie has her own fashion brand, Gung Ho London, so she was very helpful as she knew what types of dresses suited me and what didn't work as well. She was adamant as soon as I tried on the dress that it was 'the one'!
Dress Shopping
My favourite part of the dress shopping experience was the relaxed feel and the beautiful setting of the chapel. The appointment went very quickly but we were never rushed by the Miss Bush team (despite likely overstaying our appointment slot!). Everyone was so warm to us, which made the experience far less daunting than it could have been.
I had wobble during one of my fittings, when I was feeling a bit overwhelmed in the run up to the wedding. Adrien was great, he gave me the confidence booster that I needed!
Styling
I wore a veil and had my hair styled in hollywood waves, with my hair pinned back using Miss Clemmie pins. I wore flat shoes under the dress as I am so tall, but I doubt anyone noticed!
A relaxed, beautiful wedding at Came House, Dorset
We got married at Came House in Dorset. The ceremony took place in the orangery, which was beautiful and bright. We went for a natural, wild look with green and white flowers, which Jess arranged beautifully. We had plenty of help from family in the run up to the day, which we were so grateful for! Ben's sisters, Maddie and Annabelle, designed our wedding stationery and his mum, Michelle, made a rice krispie style wedding cake! Michelle and Ben's grandmother also dried out flowers for over a year so we'd have enough confetti for everyone.
The best bits
The ceremony was an unexpected highlight! We loved how relaxed it was. Our registrar, Maria, was wonderful and had everyone laughing within the first few minutes. We also loved the speeches, so much effort went into them and they meant a lot to us. We had an intimate dinner the night before the wedding with our closest family and friends, which was another highlight for us, as the actual wedding day went by so quickly!
Charlotte's Advice
I'd take a friend/family member to the fittings as well as the initial appointments - it makes things more fun and helps in case you have any moments of self doubt!
