After postponing their 2020 wedding, Aimee and Robbie were finally able to marry in July 2021, at the beautiful St James's Church in Shere, followed by an elegantly styled rustic garden party reception.
Aimee wore Suzanne Neville's Sapphire wedding dress; a classic, romantic gown with an elegant portrait neckline and structured bodice for the perfect fit.

Suzanne Neville Sapphire wedding dress
I chose Susanne Neville's Sapphire dress and it was a very easy choice as soon as I put it on. All the dresses were so beautiful but the Sapphire just stood out to me, I loved how traditional it was but also had the modern slightly off the shoulder neck line - which I never thought I would go for! The fit was literally perfect and I felt amazing wearing it - literally didn't want to take it off!
I took my mum and maid of honour dress shopping with me and they instantly knew it was 'the dress' when I tried it on.
Dress Shopping
I loved the whole experience of trying on dresses in the Chapel which was not expected as I was dreading the wedding dress shopping so much! I had been nervous before all of my appointments and Rosie made me feel relaxed instantly, My favorite part was how knowledgeable Rosie and Jo were and the way they explained how each dress should fit to your shape. No adjustment was too much effort and the options were limitless! They could not of been more helpful.
We had to cancel our 2020 wedding due to Covid and the Miss Bush Team could not of been more understanding and helpful during the uncertain times!
Styling
I had a Jesus Piero head piece which I also purchased from Miss Bush along with a simple Suzanne Neville veil. Harriet Wilde Forest Green Velvet Shoes which I loved as they were so different but worked so well.
A rustic garden party wedding in the Surrey Hills
We struggled to pin point a theme to begin with as wanted something traditional but also slightly rustic. Our colours were mainly Greens and Pinks however, we went quite pink in the end! Bridesmaid dresses table linen included! We had a splash of other colours included within the flowers as Lynn (grooms mother) had a wild meadow area planted in the garden near the marquee area so everyone could walk through on the way down from reception drinks on the lawn to the stretch marquee it looked beautiful! The flower meadow blended in with the marquee so well it all just flowed together. Felicity (Lady Lissy did an expectational job the all the flowers - they were more beautiful than I could ever of imagined!
The best bits
The party! As the wedding was 4 days after the Covid restrictions were lifted (cutting it soooo fine!) we were lucky enough to have all of our day guests attend which made the evening so much fun! It was like a big overdue reunion with all of our family, friends and loved ones!
Aimee's Advice
I tried on so many dresses in other shops and was unsure on all of them. When people say you know when you try on 'the one' I didn't believe them but trying on my dress at Miss Bush I instantly knew that was my wedding dress! Go with your gut instinct! I also decided at the beginning of all the planning not to get obsessed with set themes, designs and colour shades and also not to trawl the internet looking for ideas but to try and go with what suited us as a couple and what we actually wanted- I think that helped massively when making the final decisions!
