Hot on the heels of our last wedding feature, we have another Fetcham Park wedding day, the French themed celebration of Charlotte and James, with Charlotte wearing the much adored, easy to wear, and effortlessly elegant Geddes by Suzanne Neville.

The wedding was shot by photographer Sophie Duckworth, a Miss Bush bride whose wedding we just featured that also took place at Fetcham Park - click here to see it!

Suzanne Neville Geddes

I wore Suzanne Neville - Geddes. I loved the back of the dress and the buttons on the sleeve - it made me feel very elegant.

I brought The Groom Mother (so my mother-in-law) with me when I found the dress. She cried once I put it on and told me that was the one!

Styling the dress

I tried to keep it simple and elegent - I had pearl earring to match the buttons on my sleeve and back

I wore Aquazzura 'very maltida 105 leather pumps' which I actually thought where going to kill my feet as the heel was very thin, but due to the strap, I found the shoes very comfy and didn't take them off all day/night!

Dress Shopping

My favourite part of the dress shopping experience was coming to the Miss Bush chapel and having the team make me laugh through the process!

It was a fun experience when I visited Miss Bush Boutique. All the boutiques I had been to in London stressed me out! I particular enjoyed trying on the dresses and then nipping over to the nest for a cup of tea and slice of cake!

I also had the pleasure of attending Suzanne Neville VIP event which is an event I'll never forget - a lovely memory of the wedding planning.

A French themed wedding at Fetcham Park

We had a french theme wedding - french food, Rose from Provence and lavender - as the brides family was from Provence, France.

King Fisher Farm/Flow Shop put on a beautiful display of Lavender, lily of the valley and spring flowers - small but tasteful.

The best bits

The speeches - Father of the bride, Groom and Best Man had the whole room laughing and crying.

Seeing all the people you love in one room having a good time is so precious and meant the world to us.

Charlotte's Advice

Don't fixate on a particular style of dress - look at your body and find a dress that compliments you. You want to feel and look your best self!

Love and trust your suppliers - it will make the wedding planning so enjoyable!
