We're thrilled to share Clare and Stephen's classic, elegant Chelsea wedding with you this morning. Planned in an incredible 6 weeks the wedding took place in February at the beautiful Chelsea Old Church, followed by a reception next door at Petyt Hall.

Clare wore Jesus Peiro 946, a simple, stylish gown with a soft silhouette and high neckline featuring an elegant open back and bow to the rear. The comfortable flowing fabric and high waistband made it the ideal choice to dress Clare and her growing bump. Clare accessorised with the most beautiful heirloom tiara and earrings borrowed from family members, with some chic sparkling shoes to complete the look.

Read on to find out more about Clare's dress shopping experience, along with more details about her elegant Chelsea wedding to Stephen.

Jesus Peiro 946 wedding dress

I saw the dress online and found a link to the Miss Bush website.  Having realised how close to London Miss Bush is, I went and met Emma and the team.  It was the first dress I tried on and I loved it straight away.  Emma suggested I try another for comparison which helped when we made a few weeks but this was the dress.  Its simplicity and design meant that it could accommodate my growing baby bump.

Dress Shopping

I just came on my own to find the dress, but face timed my sister in France who loved it too.  Next time I came back with my future sister in law.

My favourite part of the dress shopping experience was Emma and the team.  They had great advice to tailor the dress to the bump.  It was a joy to work with them.

It was incredibly straight-forward and the only mishap was forgetting to bring my wedding shoes to the fitting.

Styling the dress

I was fortunate enough to be lent a beautiful tiara by my cousin and earrings from my aunt, which really complimented the simplicity of the dress.  Then all blinged up with a pair of silver sequin shoes.

An elegant Chelsea wedding

We organised our wedding in 6 weeks which was crazy! Once we booked the church with the hall next door it was full steam ahead.  Luckily the church had a prescribed list for flowers, caterers, music which helped hugely in making decisions.

The dress was also miraculously easy thanks to the Miss Bush team and the speed, workmanship and skill of the Jesus Peiro team in Spain turning it around in a couple of weeks which included Christmas.

The best bits...

Cliche but walking down the aisle and seeing my husband - the happiest of moments plus the speeches which were hilarious!

Clare's Advice

Head straight to Miss Bush for the dress and as for wedding planning give yourself a little more than 6 weeks but not too much time as you go crazy with the wedmin, it becomes all consuming so you want a defined but manageable period. Plus make sure you have a brilliant photographer, Charlotte Bromley- Davenport was absolutely fantastic and I can not recommend her more highly!
