We're delighted to share Ellie & James' beautiful September wedding with you today. The marriage ceremony was held at Berwick Church (St Michael & All Angels) followed by a reception at the bride's parents farm in Selmeston, East Sussex. The elegantly styled marquee was set up in field looking over the stunning South Downs.

Ellie looked beautiful in Jesus Peiro Style 222, and is the first bride we've shared wearing this chic, simple and elegant gown. With a fitted stretch bodice and gently flowing skirt, the dress features sheer chiffon elbow length sleeves for classic elegant bridal style.

Jesus Peiro 222 wedding dress

I wore the 222 by Jesus Peiro. I think I picked it as my random 6th choice in my questionnaire for my first appointment but I think I knew as soon as I put it on that it was the dress! I always thought I would wear something with lace so this dress was unexpected but so right for me. Whenever I tired it and when it put in on on our wedding day, it honestly made me feel so safe and invincible.

Dress Shopping

We did have a slight hiccup with my veil, which was quite close to the wire *with the veil only arriving the day before the wedding, but the Miss Bush team made sure I had a back-up just in case the JP replacement didn't clear customs in time. After all the worry, I actually ended up with two veils and was able to wear the intended JP veil on the day. I can't thank the MB team enough (especially Rosie) for sorting it all out in the end.

Styling

I tried to keep the styling for my dress very simple, to match the dress. The JP veil had a wide ribbon edge, which matched the waistband and cuffs of the dress. For accessories, I found some simple pearl earrings and matching necklace from Lily & Roo and managed to find two hair pins with clusters of pearls from Liberty in Love. I wore Castaner white espadrille wedges as I know they are super comfortable and I could stay in them all day.
