Our wedding today features the first look at one of our Jesus Peiro 2023 styles on a real bride, with Helena wearing Style 2312 for her chic, classic London wedding to Ben.
The wedding took place in June in central London, starting with a ceremony at St James's Church in Piccadilly. The party then moved on to St James' Square for the reception, following by an evening celebration at the Royal Automobile Club.
Helena's dress choice was 2312 by Jesus Peiro, a simple, elegant gown with full length Gigot or 'Leg of Mutton' sleeves made from billowing chiffon, finished with wide buttoned cuffs. The simple, flowing mermaid skirt sits below a smooth fitted bodice, all made from crepe, finished with a chic wide square neckline to frame the collarbones beautifully.

A Jesus Peiro wedding dress
I chose Jesus Peiro's 2312 dress. I LOVED the square neck and the chiffon sleeves - and of course the buttons on the back and cuffs! The dress absolutely matched the vibe of traditional wedding with a modern twist
Dress Shopping
I was with my mum and sister - we had tried on so many different types of dress and I was really not convinced looking at the dress "on the hanger". When I put it on, we knew it was the one!
My favourite part of the dress experience was the honesty that I got from the team at Miss Bush. I was convinced I wanted something with drama/big sleeves/something along those lines. Having tried on various different types of dress I was able to rely on the expertise of the team at Miss Bush to steer me towards a dress I wouldn't have picked from the hanger!
Styling
For the ceremony I wore Jimmy Choo Bing 100 Silver Glitter Tulle Mules which were amazing, and then for dancing I changed into Steve Madden Paysin silver sandals which look ridiculous but were so comfortable!
I wore my mother's pearl and diamond earrings that she was given as a gift by my father when I was born, and a necklace that Ben, my husband had given to me as a birthday present a few years ago.
About the Day
We had a traditional church wedding - morning suits for boys but with a modern twist. Flowers we wanted to keep simple in whites/pinks and my bouquet was one of my favourite things - all white peonies that I felt SO lucky to have because the season is so short!
The best bits
Our wedding was on the same day as Trooping the Colour, so just before we went into the church, we got to see the RAF flypast.
I think my favourite part however was when we left the church, one of the groomsmen (who is a professional bagpiper) piped the entire wedding party down Jermyn Street into St James' Square. Traffic literally stopped, people in restaurants and on the street were applauding us as we walked down - we felt like celebrities it was totally ridiculous!
Helena's Advice
Be open minded and give yourself lots of time to plan - get the big stuff ticked off early and then the details don't feel as overwhelming!
