It is wonderful to share Sofia and Dal's elegant London wedding with you today! The first of two weddings, the London event took place in late August, featuring an intimate ceremony at St Peter's Italian church, followed by a celebration at The Langham Hotel. The second event took place at a villa in Italy.
For the London wedding, Sofia wanted to reflect her Italian heritage, choosing to wear a jumpsuit to honour the tradition for brides to wear a trouser suit to the legal ceremony, which usually takes places at a town hall 2 weeks before the wedding. Jesus Peiro's 2352 strapless crepe jumpsuit was the ideal choice for Sofia with the wide leg palazzo style trousers giving the jumpsuit a more bridal feel. Sofia styled the jumpsuit with classic Manolo Blahnik heels in powder blue, with a sparkly headband and an off-the-shoulder tulle bolero wrap in place of a veil.

Jesus Peiro 2352 bridal jumpsuit
I chose the Jesus Peiro jumpsuit for my London wedding. I loved how it was very different to our wedding in Italy. As the jumpsuit is a wide leg trouser it felt like I was wearing a dress so I did not fell cheated for not wearing a dress for the ceremony.
I took my Mum shopping with me. I love wearing jumpsuits so it felt right to wear a bridal jumpsuit for the church wedding. The jumpsuit has wide leg trouser so it looks like a dress in certain angles.
Bridal Shopping
My favourite part of the bridal shopping experience was finding the outfit and feeling thankfully that I'd made the right decision for me. I knew I wanted a very different look to the wedding in Italy. Traditionally in Italy, the legal wedding is in the local town halls 2 weeks before the church and reception where brides usually wear trouser suits. I wanted to bring this tradition to the UK.
Emma helped me overcome the veil situation, I did not want a traditional veil however with the help of Emma and my mum, they helped create a veil bolero which I worn across my shoulders for the church.
Styling
I chose the Manolo pointy blue shoes, which suited the jumpsuit well as the points of the shoes just poked out at the bottom of the trousers. I added a sparkly headband to add some glam to my outfit.
Sofia and Dal's stylish London wedding
I am fortunate enough to have had 2 weddings, one in London and one in Italy. The London wedding was a small intimate day with immediate family only and the wedding in Italy was in a Villa where we invited all our friends & family. For the London wedding, I chose the Jesus Peiro jumpsuit as I wanted 2 very different looks for both weddings. The day started with the religious ceremony in the St Peter's Italian church in Farringdon, followed by the reception at The Langham hotel in London.
The best bits
My favourite moment was my groom and family seeing me for the first time as I walked down the aisle of the church with my dad and noticing that I was wearing a jumpsuit rather than a dress followed with the Cinderella Manolo shoes. Another moment was going for the photoshoot after we were married, spending time with my husband was fantastic so we could connect about our day so far. This made the shoot extra special.
Sofia's Advice
Enjoy every moment, planning a wedding is stressful, however once it's all over it's over. You won't get the time back again, talk to your partner about the day that you are both planning, and remember it's about the both of you, not family, just the bride and groom.
