“The thing is, reciprocal links aren’t that interesting…”
What is interesting is a multi-discipline, sensory overload with a design and production team committed to producing their best work that leaves a lasting impression on guests and a lasting legacy online.
I knew I wanted to learn more about marquee weddings. So many Miss Bush brides choose to celebrate, not just their weddings, but their family events at home that I felt I needed to know more. To be able to recommend anyone to a bride I always want to see how any service provider works under pressure, what they deliver and how they exceed the practical and creative brief.
Suggesting to one of the South East’s most well-respected marquee providers and one of the county’s best loved caterers that Miss Bush could help stage an event that exceeded the benefit of ‘links’ was audacious. Thank you, Iain of Inside Outside Marquees and Emily from Two Many Cooks, to have faith in the concept to join us as event partners.
Joined by wedding planner Jenna Hewitt, The Wedding Present Company and a cast of incredible suppliers, that I will detail in further articles when I recover the power of thought and speech, A Marquee in Winter created a new fusion in the wedding industry and a new conversation with engaged couples.
It was a very special evening and I want to thank Team Bush for adding a major event on top of their already phenomenal workload.
New concepts of creativity and collaboration were explored with Nortier Shallow producing a bespoke dress for the event. Promoting emerging talent alongside the bridal big hitters Suzanne Neville, Jesus Peiro and Eliza Jane Howell is central to my philosophy across the broader spectrum of all wedding creatives.
I am looking forward to sharing the specifics over the next few weeks but, in the meantime, I am running off to the seaside with my husband, Marshy, for our Leather wedding anniversary…
