The second of our 'Black Friday Experience' days took part on 16th February and we're delighted to give you a little peek at what we got up to!

The experience days were exclusively for Miss Bush brides who purchased during the Black Friday promotion, and were designed as a ‘thank you’ for choosing Miss Bush. Brides were treated to a bottomless brunch and the chance to hang out at the chapel in a fun, informal environment, doing workshops, being pampered and getting to know the team better!

Read on to see all of the photos from the event by Desiree A North Photography and to meet the fabulous team involved in the making the day so special...

Flowers and Styling

As we hosted our Anna Kara bridal event just days before we were lucky to already have some incredible displays in place, created by the fabulous Lara from Wild Renata Flowers. Utilising deep rich purples and plums alongside faded pinks and antique cream, the look was dark and romantic with a touch of drama.

The event was styled by the ever lovely and efficient Emma Joy The Wedding Planner, who created an effortlessly elegant display table featuring a chic black table cloth, contemporary ghost chairs, sparkling glassware, elegant gold cutlery and beautiful Ester & Eric candles sourced from Blomster Designs.

Victoria from Made Your Day was also back with her nightwear collection pop up. Victoria's pieces include luxurious robes, pyjamas and accessories in beautiful botanical prints. They also come monogrammed for a lovely personal touch and are just perfect for brides and their entourages to wear whilst getting ready. They're ethically made and so reasonably priced too - go take a look!

Food and Drink

The team from Two Many Cooks were back again with their fabulous Bottomless Brunch! Delicious avocado toasts, granola pots and flapjacks were served alongside blinis and delicious bitesize sausage rolls, all washed down with plenty of fizz. What more could you ask for?

Styling & Pampering

Carolanne Armstrong and Sharon Roberts might as well move into the chapel permanently at this point! As usual for any Miss Bush event, our expert Hair Stylist and Make Up Artist took over the back room atelier to give styling tips, advice and mini trials to our brides, with plenty of accessories to hand for trying on and experimenting with.

Our wonderful local Weleda Wellness Advisor, Nisha Jani, was also back to give some much needed TLC and pampering to our brides. Miss Bush have worked with Weleda many times over the past few years so it was an absolute delight to have one of their experts attend in person to provide wellness and pampering! All brides who booked in with Nisha enjoyed rejuvenating hand and foot massages, all performed using Weleda's beautiful products, as well as skincare and wellness advice. Perfect for relieving a little wedding planning stress!

Calligraphy Workshop

New to Miss Bush, the lovely Louise from Lou Paper fit right in with the team, offering our brides and their guests the chance to learn more about calligraphy, teaching them some of the basics and giving them chance to try out her craft. It looked like so much fun and Lou was a brilliant teacher - we hope everyone enjoyed it!

Chat

One of the great things about this type of informal events is the chance for brides to be able to chat with suppliers in a relaxed, intimate environment, talking through problems and answering any questions that brides might have.

The two Emmas, Miss Bush MD Emma and planner Emma Joy, hosted the styling and planning clinics, talking through some of the inspiration and looks that had been created for the event as well as discussing queries from brides.
