We're sharing our first Jesus Peiro bride post of 2023 today, featuring Sophie looking radiant in her 2271 two piece for her wedding to Andi. Taking place in late summer, the wedding was held at Silchester Farm in Hampshire. This stunning rustic venue made the perfect blank canvas for Sophie and Andi's day which was relaxed, fun and beautifully styled with masses of colourful flowers.

Sophie chose to wear Jesus Peiro's 2271 bridal separates for her wedding - a complete U-turn from the traditional, classic look she had imagined before setting foot in the chapel! Whilst the bandeau top from this style is available in a white fabric, Sophie went for the striking copper lurex as seen in the sample and it looked incredible on the day styled with her chic up-do and rose gold hoops. Sophie also added a pair of Loeffler Randall's coveted block heels, and a vibrant colourful bouquet to complete her look.

Jesus Peiro 2271 wedding dress

I chose Jesus Peiro 2271. The dress of my dreams - even though it was nothing like what I envisaged me choosing - think Susanne Neville classic was my vision.

I fell in love with the separates, the pockets, the bronze, the abstract bow. The dress made me feel comfortable, my style but bridal and elevated to the MAX. I put the dress on, on the day, and felt like a celebrity/model/princess - literally all the feels!! I could go on and on about it…is it ok to wear it around the house daily?

Dress Shopping

I brought my mum and sister with me to my appointment. My sister spotted it on the hanger and was like “you have to try that!”. It was the last one I tried, the wild card and I never looked back! My mum and sister loved it and said it was THE dress after that.

My favourite part of dress shopping was how special you are made to feel, the beautiful chapel environment, the dresses, the amazing and friendly staff - everything really!! Emma and Ben were so knowledgeable- they got what I wanted from the off and I only went to one shop after as I knew my search was over.

Styling

The dress was pretty stand out so just simple accessories - some Freya Rose gold hoops with Baroque pearls and some white Loeffler Randall block heels. I had a fine gold bracelet with a small pearl pendant to wear as my something old but completely forgot to put it on the day - like all the other sentimental things - my garter, sixpence and something blue (oops).

About the Day

The day was amazing…from the getting ready, ceremony to last dance it was just FUN! My glam squad were the best group of gals, making us all look out best, my amazing celebrant kicked off our ceremony with a toast, and made everything so personal to us and our family, my daughter looked angelic in her little flower crown and Nike trainers. Some of my best mates wrote and read the most amazing poem about us and the band were amazing from our entrance song to the house set at the end of night! The sun shone in the morning, turned a little overcast as I walked in to the ceremony and as we walked out as Mr and Mrs the sun was beaming and stayed for the whole day - I buried a fork which someone told me is good luck for weather and well…it worked for us!! The flowers were the icing on top of the cake, the most beautiful things I have ever seen - wild and colourful- I’m a dahlia convert. A very emotional and magical day surrounded by love from all our family and friends.

The best bits

Hard one…the ceremony, reading and speeches - these are the bits that I’m reliving. The party was awesome but these things made it really fell like a celebration from the off.

Bride Name's Advice

Don’t go for “timeless” - there is no such thing. Something will date - be it hair, make-up, guests outfits - so just be unashamedly you at that time! Also be bold, you only (hopefully) get one shot so have no regrets and wear that thing that might be slightly riskier but makes you feel AMAZING!!
