Miss Bush bride Lidia is our first real bride on the blog to wear Suzanne Neville's stunning Degas wedding dress. Lidia wore Degas for her fun, elegant wedding to Colm, which took place in mid September at the beautiful Cripps Barn in Cirencester. The day was a wonderful celebration with a warm, autumnal colour palette and lots of stunning seasonal flowers.

Made from exquisite satin crepe, Degas features a perfectly fitted structured bodice with a scooped neckline. The dress is finished with graceful off the shoulder straps. To style her look, Lidia opted for classic, simple accessories, choosing a romantic single tier veil and timeless drop earrings. For her something borrowed, Lidia wore a fabulous pair of embellished Aquazurra heels borrowed from her sister.

Suzanne Neville Degas wedding dress

I loved Degas as soon as I saw it! It was so elegant and silky and I loved the way the fabric moved and caught the light.

My mum and sister Sara came with me when I found the dress… they loved it too and I said yes to the dress there and then!

Dress Shopping

I had such a lovely experience at Miss Bush from start to finish! The Chapel is gorgeous and it instantly felt special from the moment we arrived. Rosie was so lovely throughout the process, was so calm and patient and gave some really valuable advice when I needed it. I absolutely loved the designer day…getting to try more dresses on, having a sketch done by Suzanne and having my hair and make up down too. Getting the gorgeous goodie bag and bottle of bubbles when I said yes to the dress was a lovely touch too!

Styling

I was going for a simple and elegant look with my accessories as I did not want to detract too much from the gorgeous dress!

I wore my sisters wedding shoes (from Aquazzura) as my something borrowed!

My beautiful drop earrings were the Halo and Co Gacinta earrings from Miss Bush.

A fun, elegant celebration at Cripps Barn

We got married at Cripps Barn in the Cotswolds and were blessed with a sunny crisp day (and only a short spell of rain).

The autumnal golden leaves looked stunning next to the bridesmaids’ rust colour dresses and the bouquets.

Luckily the weather held to allow us to have Aperol hour outside on the decking and a gorgeous golden hour!

The best bits

Seeing the bouquets for the first time on the wedding morning.

Seeing all my friends and family for the first time as I walked down the aisle.

Walking back down the aisle as a married couple!!

The speeches.

The party!
