Suzanne Neville Penny wedding dress

I loved the Penny dress so much, it really was more beautiful than any dress I had dreamt of! It was so comfortable on the day and I felt amazing & so happy wearing it. The dress even withstood the gale force winds on the day!

I brought my mum, sister & mother in law to Miss Bush for the first visit & then my maid of honour and bridesmaid for the second! They all fell in love with it as soon as I put it on and the decision was made.

Dress Shopping

I loved how fun & calm Rosie & the Miss Bush team made dress shopping. It was the third place I had been and by far the best experience. Rosie listened to what I wanted and encouraged me to also try on styles I had not considered.

Styling

I kept my accessories minimal as the top of the dress was so detailed, I wore Monica Vinader earrings that my mum had given me as well as a ring of my Grandmother's which was so beautiful & meant I had her with me on the day. When my husband proposed he bought me a pair of Manolo Blahnik's that he gave with me the evening of the proposal, (a complete dream!!) so I wore these on the day. The white sadly did not last long, so they have been died black and are ready for a new life!

A relaxed Somerset wedding at Roundhill Grange

Our day was completely perfect, even with gale force winds and last minute changes of plans due to the weather! All of our suppliers were amazing and kept everything running so smoothly.

We wanted something relaxed & a real celebration, we were officially married the week before with close family so my brother-in-law married us on the day in Somerset. The day was full of laughter, wonderful speeches, delicious food and incredible dancing!

Annabel's Advice

My one piece of advice would be one that we were told many times - take a moment alone just you two to look at the day & all of your favourite people!
