Interested in coming to our Marquee in Winter event, but not sure if it’s for you? Here are the five kinds of couples that should be on the guestlist…
Miss Bush hosted events are always ‘must-see’ moments in wedding and bridal design but ‘A Marquee in Winter’ is a whole new concept in real time immersive wedding research. It looks fabulous of course but who should book their tickets right now?
1. Couples planning any kind of marquee wedding – regardless of season
This is a real chance to quiz experts on the logistics, design and installation of an ‘outdoor venue.’
UK weather rarely plays ball with wedding planning, so find out the best contingency planning for actual winter weddings, or for if British summertime throws you a curve ball.
2. Couples evaluating the choices between a hotel or physical bricks and mortar venue, and a Marquee.
It is relatively easy to get guided tours around popular wedding venues where there are set packages and a simple features and benefits list. There are even open days, or the chance to drop in when a wedding is being ‘set up.’ It is rarely possible to get onto private property to see a marquee build, or hardly appropriate to nose around as a wedding guest.
3. Parents offering their gardens
MOBs, FOBs, MOGs, FOGs, or any other relative or generous friend thinking of piping up and offering their rolling lawns for a wedding venue should know what they are letting themselves in for! If you are hosting a wedding for the first time in your garden or field, come and find out the ‘need to know’ and the ‘good to know’ from the ‘in the know.’
4. Couples planning any kind of winter wedding
How does your photographer deal with shooting on the dark? What flowers are in season? Will the guests get cold? How does your make up deal with a blue nose followed by a warm flush? What are you going to wear to look warm and bridal at the same time?
5. The newly engaged
Wedding planner Jenna Hewitt has assembled a stellar list of hand-picked wedding suppliers. Without restriction, or client input, Jenna had the freedom to select a crack team from bar to furniture, flowers to cakes, gifts to gin bar! Hosted at Miss Bush, and challenging Inside Outside Marquees and Two Many Cooks to work in tricky albeit pretty surroundings, you can quiz, grill and try out some of the award-winning wedding planner’s black book of suppliers.
Check back soon for a full list of the suppliers who will be attending!
